I did have someone to offer to do a grocery run if I need it – thankfully I did one Tuesday morning before his fever came back. I hope Addison feels better soon!!

It just breaks my heart to hear he's so sick! And good for you to be right by his side! I know it IS exhausting! Reach out to friends, and ask for help…your friends are going to the grocery store anyways, they'd be happy to help pick up a few things for you. Truth be told, one thing I'm proud of is that Kellan could show off his fever to the doctor, not do what Carter did when he had a 105 fever, like what you are describing, and decide to be back done to 99 when we got to urgent care, then shoot it back up after they sent us home. Carter's diagnosis ended up being Roseola–a virus, I believe, where you'll see a rash all over his body when it's all done. Addison's actually had a high fever today, moaning, crying, insists only on holding him, or cuddling with his snuggly on the floor, so I'm feeling first hand that tenderness that comes with a sick child. Keep praying for the compassion and strength that Kellan needs 🙂
