Stand Out From the Crowd {Day 3 – 31DBBB – Promoting A Post}

Day 3: Promoting A Post

There are many things I do to make sure I promote my posts and hopefully get to my ultimate goal of standing out from the crowd.

1. I love http://dlvr.it/ – Easy to use, just connect your blog, Twitter, and Facebook, and Dlvr.it automatically publishes your posts to Twitter and FB for you!!  Huge time saver!

2. I am a member of Stumble Upon (http://www.stumbleupon.com/stumbler/FamilyNLifeLV/) and try to promote my followers posts that I enjoy and hope they do the same for me.  I don’t often Stumble my own posts – maybe 1/15 or so is my own work.

3. I am a member of Digg – but to be honest I am just figuring this one out….

4. I often link posts that I feel fit into current posts I am writing.

5.  I use a firefox plugin called WiseStamp as my email signature.
