Welcome to week 26 of Toddler Talk Thursday! Where Family and Life in Las Vegas, Crazy about my Baybah, and My Life as a Sippy Cup Mom Talk all things Toddler!
Each week the hosts will travel around to each blog that links up, and pick an idea, story, or picture they think was a great example of that weeks topic. In order to qualify for this you need to blog about this week’s topic, and follow the hosts. Comments letting us know you are participating are always great too. If we choose your blog, we will link back to your post the following week.
This week’s topic is :
Write a Letter to your Toddler as they are Today.
Dear Squishapillar,
You aren’t feeling very well today, stupid toddler immune system and winter colds. Not fun I tell you. And yet, even though you put your hand up to your head to tell me it hurts, and you are full of boogers, you are also still full of crazy Toddler energy.
You are still trying to play full force, but come over for a few extra snuggles, kisses, and cuddles. (Which I adore!) I love your boundless energy, and your amazing creativity. You spent much of your day building towers from your Mega Blocks. First with Daddy, then later with Mommy. I love to see your little mind working. You are so intent, creative, and serious. Who knows maybe one day you will be an architect?!
No matter what you grow up to be, please don’t grow up to fast. You are more and more a boy, and less and less a baby these days. Time seems to be flying by. You are so much fun to play with. I wish there were more hours in the day to play.
In a short month your Daddy will deploy out again, and it will be just you and me again for a little while. I know he is really not looking forward to leaving you again. Please know that no matter how many times Mommy or Daddy go away, we will always come back, and we will ALWAYS love you.
Now let’s get over this cold huh?!
I love the sun for days, the moon at night, and you forever.
XOXXO,
Mama

Poor Squishyapiller…. but nothing can stop them, right! If a stranger walked in they’d have no idea they were sick. I love this weeks theme and can’t wait for next weeks!
