Baby Wearing in Las Vegas – Guest Post from a Moby User {Part 4}

And in no particular order, a second reason I baby-wear is because I DO NOT (don’t want to use the “H” word) like getting bumped or hit or cut off by strollers! Especially those huge heavy duty ones. And it never fails, but there are always some parents who’s baby is crying and crying (I just want to be held! or I just want to see what’s going on!) and they’re just shopping along. In stores that aren’t “stroller” friendly we always get side swiped in our rear or elbow (ouch!) with a stroller. Or if we’re trying to get out of a store and someone is coming in, it is also polite, but annoying, when we have to stop to let the lady with a stroller come IN before we go OUT. So SPACE is another reason.

Speaking of SPACE. I would also think that others would ask or complain that now they don’t have a place to put their diaper bag. Well, are you ever at the mall for over 3 hours? I definitely ain’t, and if you are, you might have a shopping problem. What we do and always have, even when we did use a stroller, was change the baby in our vehicle (no diapers in the bag), and be sure we eat (no snacks in the bag). We will carry wipes, but that easily fits in my purse.And Hubs always offers to hold the diaper bag in case we do have to carry additional stuff. And about the shopping. I try NOT to buy what we don’t need, so we almost never come out with tons of shopping bags. If we do I have “The Mommy Hook” that will help. Or if we’re in the grocery store, which is a bit harder, I’ll ask the bagger to walk out to put my groceries away. I see lots of people don’t do that anymore, it’s their job. And I always give him a tip, they always say THANK YOU! I suggest everyone goes back to doing that!Ok, I think I’m rambling too much!  That’s how much I just love to baby-wear. How do I baby-wear? Well, I love to experiment! Of course I use my Moby Wrap the most. I also have two WAHM ones and the old style and a regular pouch which I’ve kinda grew out of! I also just ordered a Sugar Sweet Baby wrap! ((I WON a $25 off code for guessing the due date of their new baby!)) So excited to get it!
