I wrote this post while participating in a blog tour conducted by Clever Girls on behalf of Dannon. I have been compensated for my time commitment to the program but my opinions are my own.

So I am pretty sure you all know at this point I am trying to lose weight. So I am always on the look out for filling and healthy snacks! I am also constantly on the search of healthy snacks for my son. It is a huge bonus when I can find the same snack for both me and my son!
Dannon Oikos Greek Yogurt fills that bill perfectly! Dannon Oikos Plain and Fruit on the Bottom contains 0% fat, while the Dannon Oikos traditional blended varieties contains about 3% fat. I prefer the 0% fat while Squishy eats the 3%
Both are an excellent source of protein, twice that of most regular lowfat yogurts. Which is great for losing weight and for growing strong toddlers!
Dannon Oikos is created through an authentic Greek straining process which gives it a rich and creamy-thick texture. I prefer the taste of Greek yogurt over traditional yogurt hands down any day. Plus for some reason Greek yogurt seems to be easier on my stomach.
I love adding a few spoonfuls of granola to my yogurt for an added crunch. And I personally choose to eat it with my son’s children’s spoon which helps to make the yogurt last longer and allows me to savor my snack!
The only issue I have found with my Dannon Oikos Greek yogurt is they are not safe from the little thief in my home. If I even turn away for a second, my Squishy will sweep in and steal it for his own! (Forget the fact that he did just eat one of his own!)
I left my yogurt on the table to go switch the laundry over. I didn’t think much of this because Squishy just finished his own snack including his “yurt”! Boy, was I wrong!
My toddler stole my Dannon Oikos Greek yogurt!
I found him chowing down on my yogurt. I asked him if he was eating mommy’s yogurt, he ran over to my chair! Lucky I had my camera handy!
Thankfully, he didn’t eat it all, and I was able to get my Greek on too!
If you would like to try Dannon Oikos they are offering a coupon for a free cup on Oikos Facebook.
I have partnered with Dannon to help promote the Dannon Oikos Greek Yogurt Series. I have been compensated for my time commitment to the program, which includes writing about the promotion and product. However, my opinions are entirely my own and I have not been paid to publish positive comments.
