Yes, The Magical Forest is a super kid- friendly event put on by Opportunity Village at their Oakey location.

There is actually another Opportunity Village campus in the southwest part of town (On Buffalo between Russell and Patrick) and this is the location of the FREE Live Nativity that plays 3 times a night. The Live Nativity has an amazing cast, live animals, and incredible music. The performances are only 20- minutes long (very kid-friendly), there’s bathrooms inside, free parking, and just an all around great event for family and friends! Your kiddos are sure to love it! Yes, The Magical Forest is the one at Opportunity Village. We would love to do that this year, but heard it gets crazy busy.

I think the younger kids do better with the Boulder City train – but next year when the hubs isn’t deployed we may try the Polar Express! 🙂

I’ve heard amazing things about that BC train as well! My boys love trains so hopefully we can add that to our adventures in December as well! Oh, the Magical Forest and the Live Nativity are also really exciting and kid friendly events we go to every year! I love this time of year with family!

Love the Boulder City train idea! I just rode that for the first time with the kids this summer. It was great. We usually do Polar Express in Williams, AZ, but will consider taking them to BC this year instead!
