This week I am getting back on track after coming down with a cold that totally hijacked my body.
It is so not fair to get sick just as you are getting into the swing of a new routine. In fact it down right sucks. But thankfully I am feeling better and beginning to resemble normal again.
This week I only have 3 regular workout days before heading out to visit family. Being away from my gym and my routine isn’t going to slow me down. I plan on using these traveling workouts while away from my gym.
Before I got sick I started a new running workout. Which is either a big deal, or just me kicking a dead horse. If you remember I publicly stated how I had given up on running. Living with exercised induced asthma can be very frustrating. But I am apparently too stubborn to give up.
The first day was great. I was so happy that it felt as good as it did! I loved that even only doing sets of 1 minute running/3 minutes walking, I wasn’t gasping for air, and my body was thriving on the intervals. I did 10 sets.
The second time I did it, I only made it through 8 sets. I was also feeling it everywhere. (I got sick a day later…), but was still super excited to be working the running workout!
I weighed in that following week down 4.6 lbs!
