I have written here several times about a company that I love, respect, and may have an established addiction to. aden+anais is a family favorite in our home. Their swadddle blankets have rocked, swaddled, comforted, wiped away tears, and I can’t tell you just how many places K’s Dream Blanket has been dragged.
It may seem silly to some, but when you find a blanket that everyone in the family reaches for (we also bought the adult daydreamer blanket) you know you have something that is more than just another baby product to have. They all have special memories, and lots of love. Our blankets were packed in our hospital bag before D was born, and have been used as nursing covers, and superhero capes. When I find out a friend is having a baby I always buy them aden+anais products simply because to me there is no other product on the market that compares.
Baby D like the rest of our family has firmly established a love for his a+a. His stash of aden+anais while impressive wasn’t complete until we were sent the issie to try. The issie is perfect for my little baby who loves to have his face planted into his a+a, or for the days when the temperature in Las Vegas reaches 110+. I especially love the issie to tuck in between me and Baby D when I am wearing him. Not only does it comfort him, it is a great way to keep me dry as he tends to drool a lot!
I always joked that I could write a book and feature the aden+anais blankets in the story, but instead I thought I’d share a little poem inspired by my sweet Baby D, his issie, and his Daddy.
Sweet Dreams Security Blanket:
Once upon a time there was a little baby named D
whose love of aden+anais was plain for anyone to see.
He was wrapped up tight on the day he first came home,
he always had one near, he was never alone.
Then one day a new lovey came to our door
an aden+anais issie – baby smiles galore!
It was instant love at first sight,
a secondary comfort to hold tight.
Playtime, naptime and to bed always close to heart
Baby D and that issie are never far apart.
Then came Daddy’s deployment day,
Baby D gave up one issie so he and Daddy could play.
Across the miles they could share
two issies to calm, comfort, and care.
This deployment though short and sweet
will not keep these two apart – for in their dreams they will meet.
Thank you aden+anais for sending the issies to Baby D. We love them as we do our many (MANY) other aden+anais products.

See and up until now I only thought they sold swaddlers! My daughter never liked to be swaddled, and she didn’t have a ‘blankie’ but she did have a connection with the bumper pads in her crib, so I ended up cutting them apart and serging the ends…and those were the little ‘lovies’ she took around with her!
