August 1st is the beginning of World Breastfeeding Week. As of today I have been nursing for 2 years of the 4 years I have been a mom. I breastfed my first son until he self weaned at 16 months old. I was so sad, but it happened naturally and I was thrilled to have made it over a year. With Baby D I hope to at least nurse until he is 18 months old, maybe even 2. There is no magic number for me. I have to start back to work again soon, and my little guy just turned 9 months old.

I would like to try the undercover tanks. I breastfed my youngest daughter for 18 months, and by the end I had basically stretched out all the necks of my shirts, because it was more comfortable to feed her from the top, instead of showing off my stomach. Also the Milkys sound wonderful, since I’m unable to be a sah mom with my next baby, which will make my supply go down a lot. Learned that with my oldest. :/
It’s hard to say. My not so little anymore guy is over 20 months and still nursing. I think maybe the carrier for him, but the beads or a future baby so maybe my hair/nose/mouth won’t be so tempting.
