I’ve partnered with Whole Foods to share this post – As always my opinions are my own.
Blah! My skin has been SO extremely dry lately. Eating healthier has really helped my skin over all, but I just can’t beat the dry face. For me dry face leads to oil on my face which leads to breakouts. I wish so badly that I could shake my magic wand and fix it, but alas I can’t…
Instead I’m shaking up my skin care routine. When I was in Whole Foods a little bit ago picking up some supplements and paleo staples I wandered off from my husband and got lost in the skin care aisle. I figured why not start to clean out my chemical heavy products in the same way I am doing with my food! I’ll be the first to admit, I really haven’t cared about my skin care routine in years, but it seems silly to be cleaning up my routines and not clean up my skin care products too!!
I ended up picking up this 365 Facial Cleanser and I’m loving it. (Plus at $5.99 I don’t feel badly for loving it.)
I’m actually excited because Whole Foods is having their 3 Day Facial Care Sale this weekend!
During this sale you can pick up anything facial for 25 % off! That means facial cleansers, eye creams, toners, moisturizers, scrubs, masks, and more! Whole Foods carries products for every age and skin type and just like you’ve come to expect from their foods, they have awesome standards for their body products as well. http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/department/article/whole-body-quality-standards
I love the Avalon Organics brand that they carry in store, and I’ve heard really good things about the Rose Day Cream from Dr. Hauschka. I think we will venture over this weekend and see what I can pick up to help give my face a healthier glow.
PS – This would also be a great time to pick up any Valentine’s Day Gifts your loved one may want. I don’t know about you, but doesn’t a nice facial mask, a bottle of wine, and 30 minutes to soak in the tub sound like heaven?? (Hint Hint Hubby…)
Please note if you are heading to Whole Foods for this weekend’s Facial Care Sale it does NOT include makeup or lipbalms, and only applies to stores in Nevada, Arizona, Southern California, and Hawaii.
What is your skin care routine?

I normally just use a moisturizer, but I really need to look into using a toner.

I do care about skin care, a lot. I’ve been using Eslor for about 6 months now. I’m going to try something else though once all the products are gone. I can’t afford to continue. I need a really good moisturizer because my skin is so dry.

Thank you for your review on this product. I work outside and my face is awfully dry because of the cold harsh winter wind. I’ve been looking for a good facial cleanser and cream. PS your Valentine’s Day idea sounds delightful!

I tend to only pay attention to my skin when it is dry out and then I wish I had cared more for it but once the season is over with I tend to stop. I really wish I’d get into a routine with my skin care.

I LOVE the whole foods beauty area! I could spend hours there smelling all the scents and testing different lotions!
My hands are so dry too, they keep cracking 🙁 I’ll have to give this a try!

Our first Whole Foods just opened in town – I had no idea they also sold skin care items! I’ll have to check it out this week for sure.
