I don’t have any experience with this but my heart goes out to the families who have to handle being apart for long stretches of time. What great tools to help keep the family together!

Technology sure has made being apart so much easier. My kids Facetime their grandmother every week – something that I definitely wish I could have done 40 years ago!

We have never used Face time before. My husband will be going to China soon for business and I am sure we will be using it to stay in touch with him using it.

I love the FaceTime feature! I think that would be so comforting when bring away from a parent.

Deployments are always hard on kids no matter the age. These are great ways to help kids cope with their parent being gone for so long.
