As a parent of a child who does not like to have his hair cut, I know first hand the struggle involved with getting it done.  We have ended up many times in tears with bad cuts.  Probably none more so than his first hair cut.  I thought I would do it, and it was an EPIC FAIL!

Wowser, where to start….  I’m a Brigham Young University Graduate with a degree in Broadcast Journalism {which I LOVE}, but for now I’m so happy to be a Wife to the World’s Greatest Man and a Stay at Home Mom raising my Two Awesome kids-  A lively almost 4 Year-Old and a Sweet 1 Year Old {next week!}

I’m a doer!  I have a few things I live by, First, if you Never Try, You’ll Never Fail, BUT You Also Won’t Succeed! Second, Don’t Live with Regrets, if You’re Gonna Regret Not Trying Something then GET BUSY!! And last, Live Your Dreams, you can accomplish anything you put your mind to!

I’m happiest when I’m using my creative energy to make things for family, friends or myself.  I love to decorate!   I love being with my family, growing a garden, traveling, Ruffles, cooking a good meal, anything PINK, a new outfit {accessorized, of course!}, Shopping, meeting new people & having new experiences, A good book, Baked Goods (cookies, pastries, bread, cake etc.), a clean house, a good workout {I ran my first ½ marathon last November!} & date’s with my hubby!

If others described me they would say I’m determined & do things 150%! AND that I’ve always got my plate full (maybe too full)!

How did you get started designing purses, bags, and jewelry?

Although this question totally flatters me, I can’t take credit for the bags & jewelry I carry.  I’m fortunate enough to have some great suppliers that provide me with quality, unique items that are just my style.  I do however have a dream to someday have my own line of bags – this is just a step in that direction!

What 4 words would best describe you?

Determined/Driven, Stubborn {in a good way, mostly}, Fun, Happy.

Where do you find your inspiration?

I love to watch people, how they decorate themselves & their homes then I take my favorite elements and add a touch of me!

What are you favorite go-to items in your closet?

I love a cute embellished cardigan & my skinny jeans –I’m looking forward to summer, I love a cute sandal!

If this bag (my new lust – I dream of wearing her at EVO11) was a person – describe her personality.

What is your favorite new must have item for spring?

I’m IN LOVE with these great Flower Clip/Brooches (have you seen them on my website??) They are so stinkin fun, they can dress up ANYTHING!  Wear em as a Brooch, on your belt, on your bag, in your hair…see what I mean –and the colors are so great they’ll add just the right “POP” to any outfit!  Oh, and floral prints!  Don’t you just love a good floral print?

If you were a color – what color would you be?

PINK, all shades but mostly the brighter ones!

I purchased two of these handbags for myself.  One basic black, and another soft purple one.  The black one was a purse I had been looking for for 2 years, and I was happy to find it at such a great price point.  The purple bag was a pure love purchase.  Once I saw it, I knew I HAD to own it.  I get compliments on both every time I wear them out and about.  And neither one broke the bank!!

I love my two Liv’N Chic Bags, and hope to own more in the future. Like I said about, that yellow floral purse is calling to me!!

What are Yum Yum Dishes?

Tracy is a former restaurateur and mother of two.  Her Yum Yum Dishes are a great way to teach little ones about correct portions size and help to keep snack size in check for grown-ups, too!

Recently Lisa Mosley (from Biggest Loser) signed on with Yum Yum dishes to be their spokesperson.  After losing 60lbs at home, Lisa continued to go on and lose another 37 lbs.  Portion control was a huge reason behind her weight loss success.

A portion of Yum Yum Dish sales is donated to Louie’s Kids to help in the fight against childhood obesity.

The Review:
I got one bowl to check out and add into my weight loss lifestyle.  I loved the cute design.  They make proper snacking more fun, and less guilt induced.  I know when I have a snack out of the bowl, I am getting the right portion.  No deprivation, just happy snacking.  I mainly used the dish for Squishy’s snacks.  It was really nice to have a fast and easy way of giving him a good amount of his crackers or pretzels to munch on without spoiling his appetite for dinner later.

I really love this idea, so much I plan on ordering a full set for myself.

Yum Yum Dishes rate an EXTRA SQUISHABLE on the Squishy Rating Scale (9/10)  The only thing I would like to see changed is a toddler/kid friendly set made out of plastic so as not to worry about breaking.
