Every. Single. Day. He eats more for breakfast and lunch than I do, although his dinner portion is usually small. He adores veggies, fruit, and wheat bread. And pretty much everything else except tuna casserole and fettuccini alfredo.

Some days my 2 year old refuses to eat more than 1 bite for dinner. Not exaggerating! And he willingly ate about 5 bites of vegetables between ages 1 and 2. It is so frustrating. We got him to start eating broccoli by letting him wear pink bunny ears at the table and pretend he was a bunny! But I really believe just sticking with it and continuing to offer food will pay off in the end. I think frustration is just part of the toddler package. Our current big frustration: teeth! We have a heck of a time properly caring for his teeth because he fights us so much on it. I have found this Mom’s Guide to be helpful, by the way.

P.S. I wouldn’t mind eating like a toddler either! 🙂
