For me it felt different from anything I’d seen before. Just the mood, the pace, the performances and the creatures and tech of the world were so satisfying for me. I miss it now that it’s gone from theaters and I’ve pre-ordered the DVD/BluRay. I wish more people had gone to see it. It frustrates me that a few bad reviews (most were good) had the power to turn off the majority of the US public from going to see it. I’m part of a fan movement to get the sequel made (promoting the DVD and film in general). It’s fun and we hope to make it happen as other fans have done in the past. Anyway, thanks for very a nice review and writeup! 😀
