It was never a question for me on whether or not I would breastfeed my child. I knew I was going to. I tried to prepare myself before my son was born, but nothing prepared me for the hardships we had breastfeeding.
After many many many a crazy amount of tears, and a ton of $$ spent on breastfeeding paraphernalia, things finally clicked in for Squish and me. We were finally in sync with each other and I was finally enjoying my time breastfeeding my son.
Time and time again I caught myself wondering;
“Why didn’t anyone tell me it was going to be like this?”
“If someone had warned me, I would have prepared myself so much more.”
I decided that I needed to create a place where other breastfeeding mother’s could share their stories in an effort to at the very least show other mom’s out there that they are not alone in their breastfeeding journey.
