Can you imagine summertime without a grill?

Yeah, me neither!  Summertime practically screams “GRILL”.  Recently I headed out to a Smart and Final store near me where they were hosting a Cattleman’s Finest grilling bash.  And even though we were at a grocery store, they had all the right ingredients for a grilling party!

They had a live demo going on grilling up an easy summer dish: Fajitas!  Using Top Sirloin and Bell Peppers, so cheese and a tortilla wrap Fajitas were being served all around.

While cooking the Cattleman’s Finest rep talked about different kind’s of Cattleman’s Finest beef cuts that you could use all summer long to grill up your summer!

The radio station KLUC 98.5 was on hand playing fun music and giving away a plethora of prizes.  Including cds, t-shits, movie premiere tickets for early screenings of Cars2 and Transformers 3, and a large Smart & Final “Beef it Up” prize pack! (This prize pack housed a $50 Smart & Final gift card for future beef purchases, a “Beef, it’s what’s for dinner!” apron, thermometer, and spice pack, as well as some beef recipes!)

I enjoyed watching the grilling demo as I am always looking for new recipes to cook for my family, and Squishy enjoyed the radio music!

The Smart & Final store was smaller than some traditional grocery stores, but was well laid out and labeled so products were easy to find.  In addition to a wide variety of meats to choose from, I was also impressed with their produce section.
