Corn Warmerz Review and Giveaway!!

A few weeks ago, I had pulled out my electric heating pad, placed it on my bed, and lay down on top of it. Sounds nice right? Well, it felt good until I went to get up about 10 minutes, and was greeted with a nice shock to my bum!! Talk about a pain in my … tush! The sad thing was this was not the first time that has happened. I knew it was a possibility because it had done it in the past, but my sore back won out, and I decided to give it a go anyway. During my pregnancy I suffered from severe sciatica. It was so painful at times I had to crawl to the bathroom, or wake my husband to help me get there. I was constantly lying on my ‘shocking’ heating pad. I still suffer with the sciatica from day to day, and I knew there had to be a better option, but I didn’t know what it was.

Then, during one of the Blog Hops I participate in, I met Rachelle from Corn Warmerz. I checked out her blog, and knew it was more than just luck that we had found each other. If you are anything like me, you are sitting there reading wondering, “Ok, but what is Corn Warmerz?” Corn Warmerz is an all Natural, Eco-Friendly Microwavable heating pad. The 100% cotton fabric is filled with re-cleaned, whole corn, which is purchased from a local supplier. (I love this, because it means an even smaller carbon footprint!) It can also be placed in the freezer and be used as a cooling pack to reduce swelling and inflammation. Rachelle’s whole family loves and uses these corn bags for multiple reasons, but their love of the bags first started when her than 3 year-old son (now 19) was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis.

On the Squishy rating scale Corn Warmerz gets a VERY SQUISHABLE!

The beautiful microwavable heating pad set came in the mail on Friday. I couldn’t wait to use it.
On Saturday, both Squishy and I came down with a nasty stomach bug. It left me exhausted, dehydrated, and unable to take anything for fear of throwing it back up. I immediately thought of the Corn Warmerz. I put my eye pillow in the freezer (in a plastic bag as directed), and stuck my neck warmer in the microwave. Let me tell you, what a wonderful and natural way to relieve the tension and pain I was feeling. And while Corn Warmerz couldn’t cure my stomach bug, they sure helped me get through the past 2 days. Normally I try to give a product a full weeks review in our home before sharing my opinion, but I was so impressed by how well this product held its temperature, and the way it eased my headache pain I knew it was something my family will use for many years to come!
