Dear Squish… {WW}

March 15, 2011 By Emily 23 Comments

** I am combining my Wordless (which are way more often word-filled…) Wednesdays with a weekly letter to my son.  So check us out every Wednesday for your dose of Squishy! **

My Dearest Squishy Boy,

After several days of this:

"Famil Life" "Two Year Molars" "Sad Face" "Family and Life in Las Vegas"
MOMMYyyyyyyy These two year Molars really make me mad!!

(FYI that is a hood from his shirt, and a shirt bib for dinner time with pasta and red sauce. – Not a baby straight jacket.)

I think we were both really happy to get out and enjoy the great weather.  While it can’t take away your tooth pain, we both enjoyed spending two BEAUTIFUL DAYS outside!

"Family Life" "Outside Fun" "Water Play" "Family and Life in Las Vegas""Family Life" "Outside Fun" "Water Play" "Family and Life in Las Vegas""Family Life" "Outside Fun" "Water Play" "Family and Life in Las Vegas""Family Life" "Outside Fun" "Water Play" "Family and Life in Las Vegas""Family Life" "Outside Fun" "Water Play" "Family and Life in Las Vegas"

You are so full of curiosity and desire to learn, touch, and explore everything you can.  The first day you spent about 5 minutes walking around the yard pointing to everything and saying “This”, “Wow”, and “Ohhh!”
I love watching your discover your world.  Everyday brings something new.
You said “Airplane” for the first time yesterday, and pointed up to the F-16 in the air.  You are so smart.
I put a measuring cup in the bucket of water, and you took it filled with water to give to each and every plant you could.  And if it happened to spill, you would get a look of shock on your face, and say “UHOH!”.
You loved the spraying water, and didn’t waste a moment trying to drink from the hose.  Silly Boy.
Even though your teeth are still clearly bothering you, I managed to get several sweet smiles out of you.
Squish, I live for your smiles.  Thank you for sharing them with me.  I will drink every sweet one of them in as if it was the first.

Xoxxo,
Mommy

2-year molars are so distressing, but so cool you were able to get out and enjoy the nice weather and get some amazing smiles! 😉

Thank you! He is a tough dude – but teething has always been his nemesis… thankfully it is almost all done! I love his hair too – can’t bring myself to cut it again…
