Step2 Sand & Water Fun Farm {Review}

July 29, 2011 By Emily 12 Comments

Step2 ReviewSummertime is the perfect time for heading outside and enjoying the warm days.  Step2 has many toys and activity tables to keep your toddler/preschooler entertained during the long days.

Water and Sand play is a great way to develop your child’s physical dexterity, cognitive skills, and imagination.  Using a combination of sand and water allows you child to learn about solids and liquids and even combine them.  Basically, while they are having fun splashing and digging they are developing important skills and learning!

Step2 has several outdoor activity tables for you to choose from!  I was excited when the Fun Farm arrived. My son loves animals, and anything that goes, and this had both!

My son really enjoyed the Fun Farm!  He had a blast driving the tractor around and sending the animals for a swim.

PROS:

  • Easy Assembly
  • Bright Colors
  • Compact size (easy to use indoors and out!)
  • Several Toys included
  • Good Price Point ($59.99 + free shipping)

CONS: (I don’t have many, but I sure would love to see these added)

  • No Cover
  • No Drain

Bottom Line: We really loved the Step2 Sand & Water Fun Farm! On the Squishy Rating Scale the Fun Farm gets a Extra Squishable (9/10).

Disclosure: STEP2 sent me a Sand & Water Fun Farm for my review. No Monetary Compensation was given, and all opinions are 100% honest and my own.

Great review! Hayden had a water table but it cracked in the middle and we haven’t replaced one. I need to get him a new one!

Buying my kids a sand and water table was one of the best investments I ever made in a toy. Seriously! This one is very, very cute!

This would be a perfect birthday gift for my little mutant! Do you know if this something you have to order online, or if they carry it in stores?

We have this fun table as well and you listed every pro and con just right! I sure do hope that they add a cover and drain at some point, as that really would make it perfect. Sure is super cute, though!
