When Life Gives You O.J. by Erica S. Perl {Review & Giveaway} (US)

July 14, 2011 By Emily 15 Comments

"Summer Reading" "When Life Gives You O.J." "Children's Book" "Erica Perl"
Are you ready for this summer’s “Juiciest” read?

When Life Gives You O.J. is the story of a girl named Zelly, her eccentric grandpa, Ace, and his ill-advised plan to help Zelly get a dog. Ace’s plan involves an old plastic orange juice jug and is either so crazy it just might work or just plain crazy.

The book is written by Erica S. Perl, and is intended for an audience between 8-12 years of age. I however, thoroughly enjoyed it and am well, a lot older! I found the character of Zelly to be relate-able and fun. I even found myself laughing out loud at certain points in the book!

I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a fun summer read before heading back to school!"Summer Reading" "When Life Gives You O.J." "Children's Book" "Erica Perl"

When Life Gives you O.J. was released on June 14th, and was picked as Amazon’s Best Book of the month for June!
