One of the things I am asked about once a month if not more is, “What is there to do in Las Vegas with a child?”
The answer is this: A lot!
Truthfully living in Las Vegas is more family friendly then most people think. In fact, Las Vegas is a wonderful place to raise a family. There is a park practically every block, and a few hours in a car gets you to the beach, or the snow covered mountains. There is hiking and swimming in our backyard. And there are more things to do with your kids then you may have free time.
Each week I am going to try to feature a new thing to do with your family whether you live local Las Vegas or you are just visiting!
Kidville has come to Las Vegas!
I was fortunate enough to attend a special pre-opening event where we were asked to bring diapers or donations for Baby’s Bounty. (Stay tuned to learn more on Baby’s Bounty in an upcoming post!)

Squishy had a blast playing in the open gym. I loved that there were child development specialists working with the staff to ensure that your child would get the most they can out of the classes.
Now my only problem is choosing which class to enroll my son into!

Love this place! We joined and the kids have a blast. Staff is also super friendly and actually interacts with the kids in the gym instead of just sitting on the side, watching.
I can believe it. I did NICU time with an older (51 years old!) mother of triplets. They moved to Las Vegas right after they got home from the hospital because they wanted a bigger house and better quality of life than in the San Francisco Bay Area where it is sooooo expensive. Looks like fun over there in LV!
I’ve heard great things about this place! Now, if I can just get my act together to coral my brood to Summerlin, I’m there!! Glad you wrote about this though, I thought it was strictly retail. Good to know.
I’ve heard Las Vegas is more family friendly than what most of us expect. I’m sure it’s because of the “sin city” moniker that goes along with it most times. Sounds like a great place for families!

Great to know. We have Kidville in NYC and they have so many great programs for kids. Glad to hear they have expanded and are in Las Vegas too.
Love it, I am going to have to check it out with the boys!!

Looks like a blast! So sad we had to miss opening day.

Oh I wish we had one of these near my house in Florida! It looks fun!
Kids love the amazing resort pools in Vegas!
That is very true! You will most likely be seeing that on here soon! 🙂
