Has anyone told you today you are a good mom?
Guess what?
You are a good mom.
I’m not sure who wrote this – if you know please comment below.**
It is so true. Moms, no matter how you do it, have the best job in the whole world. Love is love it shows through a child’s smile. Many of my best mommy friends parent differently from me, and I learn so much from them. My own mother parented differently than I do, and I love her and the example she set for me.
I will be the first to admit, I have been guilty of judging a parent before. Especially before I had kids of my own. The longer I am a mom myself the more I learn grace for the tough days. The choices that work for me may not be the choices of others, but that is okay as long as the children are loved.
Let’s pass on the love. Tell one of your mom friends today how much you admire them and that they are a good mom.
**UPDATE The author of the text in the picture below reached out to me to let me know it was hers. She is Samantha Horn and writes a blog called Mommy Molecules and Parenting Particles. You can find her original post and many other wonderful posts there.**

How sweet. We all need periodic encouragement because, well, being a mom is hard and tiring!
I love this post!
I love this. There is no wrong or right way to mother as long as you are doing what you feel is best.
Love this! I saw it on Facebook the other day.
I could not love this any harder if I tried!!! =)
That. is. awesome. Thanks for sharing.

I’ve seen this before, not sure where though. It’s beautiful!
This is just what I needed. POSITIVITY!
This is great! It’s wonderful to read something so encouraging as a mom.
I’m all for building each other up, so this is wonderful!
I LOVE THIS! I’m a good mom. And so are you. Let the “Mommy Wars” be gone.
Thanks so much for posting this! I’ve read it before but really needed the reminder today.
That’s so great! Thanks so much for sharing!
what a fun read. Sometimes I hear horrible things that parents say to their child and I just want to go over and crack em’ in the mouth.
I love this! Thanks so much for sharing. I think we all need to read this at some point.
Saw this on FB the other day… I know I worry a lot that I’m a bad mom and am messing up my son. :/
Great post! Moms do need to hear this from ourselves and each other!
That’s sweet.
Love it, so nice to know agree that not a specific way is the right way.
I really needed to hear this, especially today.

I love this!
I love this post! That infographic is awesome. 🙂
Love this and YOU are a good mom too Emily!
Wow! I have never seen that before. We just had an 11 year old boy commit suicide in our community and there have been rumors about his mom recently. I didn’t know them, but one of my friends said it best. She did the best she could. Thanks for posting this.
Aww……such a sweet post! It’s a nice reminder to hear!
i saw this on FB awhile ago and i LOVED it. it’s probably the most perfect quote for all of us. thanks for sharing the image since i didn’t have something to share with everyone else! 🙂
I love this! I saw this on another blog the other day and on FB.
That is wonderful!
Probably because of the situation, I get told that quite often… but I assure you I am far from perfect. Mom’s of typical kids in 2 parent households should hear it more often. They work just as hard.
Aww thanks for posting this – I was feeling a little bad today because we left our daughter with friends for a week when we left today to go house hunting in a different state. Even though she’s 17 I still didn’t like leaving her behind even though she was fine with it.
LOVE this!!! 🙂
I absolutely ADORE this! Sometimes, it’s just nice to hear that you’re doing a good job. Thank you so much for sharing, seems like you’ve made the day of many moms <3
Thank you Savannah! It is nice you hear from time to time.
