5 Reasons Why You Should Run The 2015 Color Run! #WeShine

"5 Reasons Why You Should Run The 2015 Color Run!" "The Color Run" "Las Vegas Color Run" "Shine Color Run" "The Color Run 2015"

You may have heard of The Color Run before, but I can promise you – you haven’t seen it like this!

The Color Run is back for it’s 2015 tour and it’s better than ever! Whether you are a veteran runner or looking to run your first 5k, here are 5 reasons why you should run the  2015 Color Run tour!

1. The Bling!

This year they have added a finisher’s medal to the race! I haven’t meant a runner yet who doesn’t love a fun medal. Medal’s are a fun way to celebrate your first race or your 500th!

2. The Swag!

As if medals weren’t enough participants in the Shine 2015 Color Run 5k will also be getting a great swag bag filled with goodies including, custom race tee, tricolor headband w/ silver stitching, brand-new shine packet, and shiny tattoos.

3. Glitter!

In addition to running through all the fun color this year they’ve added a Sparkle Zone! I can’t even begin to imagine glitter of that magnitude!

4. Photo Ops!

While you are running be sure to stop and take advantage of all the photo ops on the course! And forget saying “cheese”, 2015 will have you saying “We Shine” all over the Color Run!

5. Confetti Canons!

The fun doesn’t end once you’ve crossed the finish line! Enjoy the finisher’s festival with (you guessed it) even more color clouds and a confetti canon!

Bonus 6. Everyone Has Fun!

There is a reason The Color Run has been dubbed the Happiest 5k on the Planet! This not timed course gets everyone out and active, having fun, and celebrating individuality. Those who are new to running will enjoy the casual no pressure atmosphere, and those who have been running for a while can appreciate doing a race just for fun with no pressure to preform. Really, it doesn’t matter what level of fitness you are, everyone has fun at The Color Run!  You will spend this 5k with a permanent smile on your face that will rival the shine of any color or sparkle on race day!

Find Your Race!

The Color Run held over 300 events in 50 countries last year! Find the race closest to you! Be sure to sign up for the VIP listing to receive exclusive discounts and first notice of upcoming races!

PS! If you are running The Color in Las Vegas on February 28th, keep an eye open for me! I will be there. It’s the perfect fun run and I can’t wait to run it with my little boys!

Have you run The Color Run 5k? What was your favorite part?

I have never done one of these runs, but they sound so fun. It’d be a great way for me to break into the running world.

I would love to do this if we lived anywhere near it. Sounds like it would be lots of fun and good exercise, of course.

I would LOVE to do this, especially with the glitter, but they don’t recommend it for people with asthma {the colors can be irritating I guess}. Maybe once my asthma is better controlled. In the meantime, I can’t wait to see pictures- it’s going to be so pretty!
