Pediped’s Footwear System ~ A Review

October 15, 2010 By Emily Leave a Comment

I first heard about pediped footwear in a Mommy’s playgroup I was attending during Squishy’s first year of life. I am always looking for quality products for my son, I knew when he started walking I wanted him to be in shoes that were comfortable, flexible, well made, and would grow with him.

We started out with the pediped Originals collection, but as Squish started to walk more and more, I wanted to put him in a shoe that would support his foot development, and grow with him.

That is why pediped’s footwear system is just perfect for any growing child’s foot. Starting with Originals, then to Grip and Go’s, and ending with the Flex; pediped’s shoes are flexible and adorable, perfect for any family.

When pediped came out with their new Flex, I was very happy to have a shoe that I knew would be great for my son’s foot development. pediped Flex is the next best thing to bare feet. Each pair of shoes uses advanced technology to ensure maximum flexibility and shock absorption in the heal. They also developed the Flex Fit System, which allows the shoe to grow with the child. (This is a great feature, as it seems sometimes their feet grow overnight!) Now your child can wear the shoe longer!!

The pediped Flex has even been approved by the American Podiatric Medical Association.

While I was sad to see Squishy outgrow his Original pediped’s I knew he was making the move to Flex technology, and that would provide him with the best support for his growing feet. When we got the Andy style in the mail, I already knew I liked it because of how adorable it was, but it had to pass the Squishy test. As you can see, he did just fine in them. My Squishy now signs shoes when he sees his pediped’s out on the floor. He wants to wear them, and that is enough to make any parent happy. In fact he walks so well in them – it is often hard to catch up to him to get a good picture! Always on the go!

In addition to the super cute shoes Squishy is wearing, the Flex also comes in Machine Washable Dryz styles, and Memory Foam Technology to add extra comfort to your child’s shoe. Having thought of all these wonderful things to make my life as a Mom easier, we have to rate pediped’s Flex footwear system a Very Squishable on the Squishy rating scale. I see many more pediped shoes in my son’s future.

Disclosure: I did receive a pair of pediped’s Flex shoes to review. I was not paid in anyway for this review. All statements are 100% my honest opinion.
