So I just ordered a couple things for Kellan’s first birthday! It will be June 4th weekend, and we have a lot of family coming into town. (In fact, I will be calling to see if I can get discounted room rates on Monday). Rob and I decided (well mostly me, but he agreed/liked it) to a caterpillar themed party. It seems appropriate since I called him my little caterpillar for so long when he was little and would make this face…
And now we combined his nicknames and call him Squishapillar.
I am looking forward to planning this as our little family. Buying the plates, planning the menu, picking out the goodies. This is what I have so far.

I think for the plates, napkins, and balloons we are going to do blue, green, and yellow solids. I just couldn’t contain my excitement, and just wanted to share. I can’t wait to have all of the family in town together celebrating this. I look forward to picking out all the stuff, and organizing the big day – after all it only happens once right?
