Toddler Talk Thursday was created as a place for moms and dads of toddlers to come together over a weekly topic and share ideas, go-to toys, or products. It is a great way to meet other bloggers of toddlers. Each week the topic will be different; we invite you to link up, share your weekly Toddler Talk!!
Each week the hosts will travel around to each blog that links up, and pick an idea, story, or picture they think was a great example of that weeks topic. In order to qualify for this you need to blog about this week’s topic, and follow the hosts. Comments letting us know you are participating are always great too. If we choose your blog, we will link back to your post the following week.
Our highlighted blog this week is:
Party of 5– We loved the pictures of Caleb and The Friend! Thanks for joining us!
This week’s topic is :
Adding to your family – how did/do you know you are ready?
Parents who have already done so – please feel free to share your story of finding out #2 or 3+ was coming along, tips, advice, or anything you think will add to this.
I go in and out of wanting to add to our family.
I will be the first to tell you – baby fever has a full on fierce hold on me.
The Hubs and I both want more children. (He’d be happy with 2, I would love to have 4!)
The smart choice for our family is going to be to wait until later in the year to give Squishy a sibling. He loves babies, but isn’t so keen on Mama holding them! LOL!
So for now that is the plan. To wait at least until after this upcoming deployment. I am fine with that.
My main worries are:
I worry about having enough hands for 2+ children.
I worry about Squish not liking the attention shift.
I worry about spreading the love around.
I worry about being able to always be there for my children.
I worry I am going to have an awful pregnancy again.
I am worried that getting pregnant again won’t be easy. (It wasn’t supposed to be easy last time… we got VERY lucky.)
I guess I can’t really worry until I have something to worry about – for now I will just coo over every little itty bitty I see out and about, and continue to keep Maybe Baby in 2011. 🙂
And Really… who wouldn’t want another itty bitty baby Squishy??
Link Up Suggestions:

2. Please grab the Toddler Talk Button and display it in your post or on your blog.
3. Stop in to other blogs that are linking up. Leave a meaningful comment if you visit, and follow if you would like.
This link up is for families that have toddlers. Raising a toddler can be fun, crazy, exciting, and exhausting. Sharing what works for you could give other families another way to do things.
Have Fun!
Please – Before you Link up – This is NOT A BLOG HOP!! IT IS A MEME FOR PARENTS AND CAREGIVERS OF TODDLERS. If you aren’t going to post specific to this weeks topic, then don’t link up.

Yes my main issue isn’t the baby, it’s the pregnancy. My husband said we’d probably have 10 kids if we could afford a surrogate! lol
Emily says
Haha – 10 huh? Wow! That would be like your own football team!! I never expected the pregnancy to be rough, I wish you the best and smooth pregnancies if you try again!!

I have the same worries and I’m expecting in May. I can’t wait to hold another little one, but I’m afraid of not giving enough attention to the one I have and also to my new one.
Emily says
Congrats on expecting in May! You will have to come back and share tips once you are an expert on two!! I have been told once two are here, there is magically enough attention. Best of Luck!! Thank you for linking up too!! 🙂
