From the Bottom of a Mother’s Heart…{Dear Squishy #WW}

Dear Moapa Nevada Volunteer Fire Department,

Normally, my weekly letters are for my son.  But this week I needed to write this one to you.

Thank you for letting my family stay at your volunteer open house even though we weren’t looking to volunteer.  (To be fair, we just saw the open house sign, and had a toddler screaming “Fire Truck! Fire Truck!” in the back seat)

Thank you for paying special attention to a child’s dreams.  He may only be two, he may not love fire trucks, fire fighters, and helicopters forever, but that day he did.  You encouraged and allowed his dream to be real.  He got to see so much more then I ever thought he could.

Sure, they have other events here, but they are super crowded.  I just don’t foresee another opportunity for my son to spend as much in a helicopter as he got to this past Saturday!

So, Moapa NV Volunteer Fire Department – thank you.

From the bottom of a mother’s heart, THANK YOU!

This is the look of pure joy and happiness!

Xoxxo,
Squishy’s Mama.

PS – If you live in or around Moapa NV, they are in need of a few good volunteer fire fighters.

**Dear Squishy is my version of (a less than) Wordless Wednesday where each week I write a letter to my son.
