Milan Maternity Stylish and Affordable Maternity Dresses

July 23, 2012 By Emily 48 Comments

Earlier this month I attended my second Evolution of Women in Social Media conference.  EVO was held in the gorgeous mountains of Park City Utah, and is one of the most laid back conferences I have ever been to when it comes to fashion.  Cute and functional is how I would describe the women in attendance.  You are still sure to see the latest fashions and trends, but in a more relaxed and functional manner.

However, the first night, the kick off event is a bit dressier.  When I realized I would be nearly 20 weeks pregnant at this years conference, I knew I needed to look past my closet for the perfect dress.

I found that at Milan Maternity with Feliciana in Plum dress!

This maternity dress was everything I was looking for.  I loved the fabric, the color, and the fit.  But most of all I love that this dress will be something I can continue to wear after baby when I am nursing.

Faux wrap maternity/nursing dress with ruffle detail and flutter sleeves. The perfect dress for any occasion! Single side ruching truly flatters during any stage of pregnancy and slims the post-partum belly. The inner tank sheath allows for discreet and modest nursing. Just pull the outer layer over and lift the inner sheath. 70% polyester, 25% viscose, 5% spandex. Imported. Available in Plum and Cerise Red.

I felt so comfortable and confident in this dress.  The flutter sleeves allow for more arm coverage, and the fabric allowed me to move freely all night long.  I got several compliments on this dress.

To me the fit and overall use of a dress is the most important feature, but a close third is the price! You can’t beat the price of this dress.  For $52 I don’t feel like I am breaking the bank to find a dress that will allow me to be confident not matter what stage of pregnancy I am in!

In fact many of their pieces are designed at an affordable price point and will carry over into post pregnancy and nursing wardrobes as well!

You can find Milan Maternity fashions online.  Be sure to follow them on Facebook and Twitter as well!

I didn’t wear a dress for 3 years while I was nursing, because it’s just too hard to pump at work with a dress on. I wish I had found one like this! This time around, I’ll know what to wear. Thanks for sharing!

great color and dress! I love that it’s affordable maternity clothing. You only use it for certain amount of days really it should be more affordable than usual maternity stores do. I’m pregnant and have only purchased a maternity pair of jeans and i had to invest a lot! thanks for the heads up and great review!
