With Squishy I made all of his baby food in the beginning. I loved making it, and I think that is one of the reasons my son loves so many different kinds of fruits and vegetables. When we started to get to the point where I needed to bring solid foods out and about with me I discovered Ella’s Kitchen baby pouches. They are organic which is important to me, and they have a variety of fruit and veggie options. When Squishy was little I would help him by squeezing it onto a spoon. As he got older, he drank them from the pouch like smoothies.
My son is now 3 years old and we still have a pouch pretty much daily. I freeze them and use them as ice packs in our lunches, and my son thinks they are smoothies. I like knowing no matter how he eats that day at least he got some wholesome food in his belly. I have even been known to enjoy one myself!
It’s great having options to buy natural, organic baby food that is easy to take on the go, tastes great, and introduces baby to a whole variety of flavors. Ella’s Kitchen offers fruits, veggies, meal combos, and more! Besides the fruit pouches they also have cookies and mini-granola-esque bars for older babies and toddlers. The pouches travel well in the diaper bag, can be frozen, and they even have a section of recipes where you can cook and bake up deliciousness using their products!
TWO lucky US readers will receive a yummy sample box of 10 pouches from Ella’s Kitchen! Ends 10/18/12.
