You can officially add this to my list of the many reasons I love babywearing.
This past week I was invited to speak on a panel at the ABC Spring Expo.ย In addition to being surrounded by some amazingly talented bloggers, I was able to do it while wearing my baby.ย He slept soundly on my chest snuggled in my Beco Gemini the whole time.

Blogging has led me to so many unexpected and amazing opportunities, this one was certainly one of them.ย But with the hubs deployed again, I wasn’t sure this one would be possible.ย Thankfully I was able to bring Baby D with me, and I loved being able to work with him snuggled in closely.
I am feeling so blessed to found a job that allows me to keep children at my side, or in my arms.

Thanks Liz!
Emily, it was so great to meet you at The ABC Spring Expo! I know we only got to chat for a short time while you stopped at our space (Baby Elephant Ears), but your little one was sound asleep then as well and allowed us a few moments =) What an angel! Working with babe is about as rewarding as it gets! Congratulations….we look forward to speaking with you again sometime!
I enjoyed talking with you as well! You were just so sweet to talk with me for a bit. I hope it was a great expo for you, and I’d love to see you again in October. I will be emailing you soon! Hope you had a safe trip back home! Best – Emily
Looks like it functions as a second set of hands. What a great way to bond with little ones.
So wonderful that you were able to do that, and that Baby D slept all snuggled up the whole time too!
that is such a nice perk.
Great to meet you at the ABC conference! Also amazing to see how well your little one did not only during the panel but walking around at the Expo afterwards too!

This is so sweet. I’m glad it worked out.
You’ve worked hard to get to this point so congrats on being asked to participate. I’m glad that your little one slept soundly during most of the event ๐
I love baby wearing and love that it’s becoming more accepted even in working circles. (P.S. The pic definitely shows you’re at a social media shin-ding :>)

I am glad it worked out. I wish I had known more about baby wearing when my boys were little.
This is one the reasons that I LOVE Baby wearing. Seriously, I wouldn’t get half as much done as I do if not for my carrier.
Baby wearing was a necessity with my youngest — he wanted to be held ALL THE TIME.
I had to chuckle at the photo … bloggers are all the same. (checking email/twitter/facebook … even on phones)
What a neat opportunity!
I think babywearing is the key to actually getting stuff done with an infant in tow.
Oh you need to! It will be a lifesaver for you!
That is pretty cool! I loved baby wearing and did it as often, and for as long as I could. Very cool!
What a great opportunity!
How awesome is that! I love that you got this opportunity and was able to have your baby, literally, next to you! ๐
