This holiday season I’m excited to be able to not only showcase some amazing companies in my Holiday Gift Guide, but also to be able to give away some of those family gift suggestions to my amazing readers!!
This next giveaway is something that I know will make a lot of little kids happy to find underneath the Christmas Tree! My son is obsessed with anything that has wheels. I’m always on the lookout for toys that can stand up to his excitement while playing! For years Hess Toy Trucks have been a tradition in many families, and I am excited to make it ours as well! I love that each year Hess Trucks release one toy that is full of amazing features at a seriously affordable price making it something that most families can afford to give each holiday season!
About Hess Toy Trucks:
In the early 1960’s Leon Hess, founder of our company, wanted to provide a fun, high quality and affordable toy for families during the holiday season. The first Hess Toy Truck, introduced in 1964, was a tanker that could be filled with water and emptied through its delivery hose. At a retail price of $1.29, including batteries, the truck was a great value and became an instant success. His creative genius and attention to detail made the Hess Toy Truck an exciting holiday tradition and a collector’s item for boys and girls of all ages.
Today, over forty years later, the Hess Toy Truck still maintains the original commitment to quality, detail and value. Models have included fire engines, helicopters, a police car, an airplane and even a space shuttle. Each year the truck is introduced with our distinctive holiday television commercial “The Hess Truck’s back, and it’s better than ever!” — and, more recently, with the Hess Toy Truck Float in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The Hess Toy Truck has become a lasting family tradition that extends across generations.
2013 Hess Toy Truck & Tractor:
This heavy-duty Hess Truck and fully motorized multi-terrain tractor is built to move mountains, and debuts an exciting new feature! The chrome detailed truck and trailer is loaded with lights that work in flash or steady mode, and has 4 realistic sounds for ignition/idle, horn, backup alert, and ramp activation. Hidden in the rear of the truck bed is an extendable rear loading ramp, which lowers for the self-propelled, multipurpose tractor to do the heavy lifting! With a fully motorized rubber track for forward and reverse motion, working lights, a locking front bucket with release button, and 360° swiveling back bucket, it’s ready to take on the toughest terrain!
The 2013 Hess Toy Truck and Tractor also includes a new interactive feature for virtual gamers. The 4 realistic sounds on the truck also activate bonuses on the Hess Tractor Trek app game!
The 2013 Hess Toy Truck and Tractor retails for $27.99.
