It’s no secret I may be diaper bag obsessed… (I really like to be able to have different bags for different needs!), and I am always on the hunt for the “perfect cloth diaper diaper bag”.
Well, I think I found it and it’s pretty safe to say I may be Ju Ju Be obsessed!
Now that I’ve reviewed the Ju Ju Be Be Right Back diaper bag and fallen in love with it’s perfect pocket placement and ability to hold a ton of stuff without being bulky or overwhelming! Plus it’s perfect for babywearing too!
I want one of every single type of Ju Ju Be diaper bags!
Why Ju Ju Be?
I get several reader/viewer messages a month asking parenting/breastfeeding/babywearing/and baby gear questions, but by far and away I get asked most about my thoughts on the perfect cloth diapering diaper bag/have I ever tried “xyz” Ju Ju Be.
When I went to the ABC Kids Expo in October I sought out Ju Ju Be because I wanted to see why so many people love these bags. I have to tell you Ju Ju Be has the smartest diaper bags!
- They have so many different types of bags so that no matter what kind of parent you are or what your needs are you will find a style that fits you.
- They have super fun patterns that are girly, boyish, gender neutral, and just basic.
- The material they use for their bags are MACHINE WASHABLE!
- Several of their bigger bags have “crumb corners” allowing you to push out the inevitable crumbs that end up in a diaper bag.
- They all have a lighter inside lining allowing mom to actually be able to see what is in their bags instead of losing it to the “Parenting Black Hole” (You know the one where all the missing socks, toys, things you KNOW you packed but you can’t find, your keys, your phone, and your wallet all fall victim to.)
- The fabric is all treated with AgION. This is an antimicrobial lining which kills germs, mold, mildew, fungus, bacteria, and gross stuff.
- Their bags are made with Teflon so you don’t have to worry about stains. (6 months of use later, my bag still looks BRAND NEW!)
- Their pocket placement is perfection! No seriously, they put pockets exactly where parents need and want them. It’s very clear no matter what style you choose lots of thought went into the design.
- Most of their diaper bags have a “mommy pocket” which is just a fun way to keep you super organized.
I really could keep going on and on, but I want to show you what diaper bag I chose to review and if it truly is the PERFECT cloth diapering diaper bag!
After discussing the differences between the B.F.F. and the Be Right Back. I decided to go with the Be Right Back in Colbalt Blossoms! I love the pattern because it’s feminine for me, but also a good boy colors. The Ju Ju Be Be Right Back retails for $140 and comes in MANY different patterns!
Ju Ju Be Be Right Back Features:
- Padded back panel with breathable mesh for added comfort.
This is great because it gets HOT in Las Vegas and no one wants a sweaty back!
- Ergonomically curved and padded shoulder straps.
I LOVE these. Instead of falling on the edge of my shoulders, they curve to my body which translates to comfort AND no slipping!
- Quick grab handle – right next to the smartest pocket EVER! A wipes pocket!
I use the quick grab handle way more than I thought I would, and could they have better placement for a pocket designed to fit a wipes pack perfectly?!
- Cell phone pocket.
- Mommy pocket with diapers and wipes pocket on the front.

- 2 exterior insulated bottle pockets … with Thinsulate™ by 3M™
They feature elastic and can even fit a liter water bottle with ease!
- Top storage pocket for your MP3 player, sunglasses or digital camera.
I don’t use this pocket much on my Be Right Back, but I do all the time on my Ju Ju Be HoboBe.
- Memory foam changing pad included in the back panel zipper compartment.
I’ve also put my table in this pocket – because it’s padded I feel very comfortable doing this. (It’s 11.5″)
- Picture pocket to keep photos handy when bragging to friends.
If you don’t keep pictures consider putting a ID tag so if your bag ever gets lost it will come back to you!

I do not own any Ju Ju Be.. yet! lol. I absolutely LOVE all the different pockets to help keep everything organized! I’m always digging around for SOMETHING that doesn’t have a home and this bag would be perfect!
Oh my goodness; if I ever have any more kids I want a Ju ju be bag! Dang that is so cute and a lot more functional than any of my diaper bags ever were.
I like this so much better than one with a shoulder strap. It doesn’t hurt that the design is so cute too. I like the top storage for mom’s equipment!

Ok, you had me at machine washable. I would have loved to have this when my kids were babies.
For my shower, I received a few diaper bags. Seldom used them because we opted for a college backpack. At the time, there wasn’t anything cute like this on the market and I only found one backpack diaper bag available and hated the design. This is perfect!

I just got this diaper bag in the mail, and I so want to love it. I am about to have baby #2, and it seems like this will be big enough for everything. However, when I put it on, the fabric on the straps is really scratchy. Do you have this problem? Maybe it’s just because it’s brand new?

I have been agonizing over choosing a diaper bag that is good for cloth diapers and compatible with babywearing and had it narrowed down to the JJB BFF and the Be Right Back.
