Rockin’ Green Cloth Diaper Laundry Soap #Giveaway

March 4, 2014 By Emily 118 Comments

I will admit the thing that scared me the most when the cloth diaper service I used with our first son closed it’s doors wasn’t so much the work involved in washing cloth diapers but rather that they would smell.  I had heard from so many other moms that tried cloth and failed due to the dreaded cloth diaper stink.  I didn’t want to deal with that…

Except like nearly every cloth diapering mom I did end up having to deal with the stink of cloth diapers.  I remember opening the dryer door (I do dry my cloth on no heat), smelling ammonia, and thinking to myself  – OH NO! They STUNK.  For me getting rid of that stink was finding the right washing solution for us, and for us that involved switching to Rockin’ Green Hard Rock and never looking back.

"Cloth Diaper Laundry" "Rockin Green Laundry" "Wash Cloth Diapers" "Hard Water" "Rockin Green"

I’m so grateful that Rockin’ Green saved our stink.  My husband is too, but mostly because I put a lot of money into buying cloth diapers.  Las Vegas water is HARD.  VERY VERY HARD.  I tried so many products before coming to the Green Side.  I’m so glad I finally found the soap that worked for us!  Plus, not only did it work but it’s saved us a ton of money so far too!! Check out how much in my Top 5 Cloth Diaper Must Haves Beyond The Diaper post!

Rockin Green is giving one of my readers a full sized bag of Rockin’ Green in the formula AND scent of your choice – a $15.95 value!  (FYI – Currently I’m using Rockin’ Green Hard Rock in Motley Clean.)  Please use the below rafflecopter form to enter.  The giveaway is open to US only and will end on 3/20!
a Rafflecopter giveaway

Good Luck! Our Knight Life is not responsible for shipping the prize to the winner.  Winners will have 48 hours to claim the prize before a new winner is drawn.  All terms & conditions are in the Rafflecopter form.

Expecting our first in June, planning to cloth diaper… not sure exactly what type of water we have.

But I like the idea of having good scents that are safe for cloth. Although I use free-and-clear detergent for my laundry now, the idea of having a “happy scent” to go with the not-so-fun aspect of actually washing cloth diapers is very appealing. Lavender mint sounds great!
