25 Summertime Crafts for Kids

I don’t know about you, but as summer starts to wind down at it’s really hot outside I am always looking for new and fun ideas on how to keep my sweet little monsters busy spend our days. At this point in the summer we’ve usually done our traveling, and knocked off several bucket list items like water parks and must see museums.

Any parent will tell you a bored child is not a good thing, so I asked around and put together a list of fun summertime crafts for kids that not only makes a nice keepsake for you, but the kids have fun doing it, and usually they get to make a big mess (win for them)! This list has tons of different ideas to try throughout the summer with your kids, and theyโ€™ll be sure to have a blast!

    We’ve been drawing with sidewalk chalk a lot this summer. These are all great ideas! I hate for my son to be bored. It doesn’t go well for the whole family.

    Keeping busy in the summer can be HARD when your little monsters are looking for activity… sometimes it ends up being the bad kind unless you have activities planned! Great list!
