Children’s clothing is overwhelming. If you have a girl, there is no end to the pink and frills and if you have a boy, it’s hard to find something not so boring! On top of that- finding matching outfits for a boy/girl is pretty much near impossible. I had all these visions of matching outfits for Christmas and Easter and I found nothing that matched! I found adorable girl stuff and fun boy stuff, but nothing that really went together.
I had not heard of Le Top before this, but once I started looking at their site, oh the adorableness of the clothes! In addition – they have matching brother/sister outfits! Score! I am pretty picky about my clothes – color and style wise. I also don’t like to have too many clothes and so I want things that are versatile and will last.
We ended up with the sail away collection brother/sister set. I can’t resist classic navy and white! For Hannah we got the Stripe & dot dress with nautical lace front in size 2T.
Patterns abound in this nautical dress with a trend-forward twist. The sleeveless A-line style is set apart with stripes in front and a charming lace-up collar. The back of the dress features a bold dot pattern and is styled with a gathered cutout fastened with anchor buttons. Made of stretch cotton to move as she does.
Pair with polka dot sunhat with stripe ties
95% cotton/5% spandex
Machine Washable
$35.00 – $39.00
Style # 127304
Sizes 12M – 6X.
She is in a super cute “cheese” & pose stage so I never know what I am going to get with pictures!
For Teddy we got the Sailboat Sleeveless pieced romper in size 9 months.
This adorable nautical-style romper is crafted of soft stretch cotton with pieced construction. This sleeveless romper pairs a clean navy body with classic stripes at the shoulders and sides. Set apart with a central sailboat motif, embroidered details, and anchor buttons. Underneath snaps assist dressing.
Pair with fish bucket hat with ties
95% cotton/5% spandex
Machine Washable
$32.00 – $34.00
Style # 127291
Color: navy
Sizes: 3M-24M
These clothes are not only adorable they are super soft and I’m sure comfortable! They are 5% spandex and it is just enough to give them a little stretch and pull. We got SO many compliments on the clothes at church! Both kids wore their outfits all day – including for naptime which gets sweaty! The other perk to the stretchy material is that it accommodates our cloth diapers a lot easier!
Sometimes Hannah can get annoyed with dresses as they can be hard to go up and down the stairs in and running around. She was completely fine all day in her dress. My absolute favorite part of this dress is the back! The polka dots are fun, but the open back makes it different and special!
It is recommended to wash the clothes on gentle cycle and dry low or air dry. I washed with the rest of my clothes on cold, regular cycle and air dried them. Teddy got food ALL over the top of his romper, but with a little shout, it washed right out!
Final Thoughts:
I definitely am going to look into more Le Top clothes for the next time I need matching outfits! I wish they had some adult clothes because they would be super comfortable!
