If you know anything about me, you know I love running. I love everything about it, from the good to the bad to the ugly. When I first started running in 2014 I struggled with shin pain and blistering. After getting my gait analyzed I was told I needed to wear a support shoe. I bought the Mizuno Wave Inspire 10 and it was love at first wear. I have been a Mizuno user ever since. I’m now wearing the Mizuno Wave Inspire 12 Support Running shoe that Mizuno sent me. I’m pretty sure “love” is my word to describe my relationship with these running shoes – Let me tell you why I love them.

Lush Feel
You better believe that while I’m running, I want a shoe with a very lush feel and this shoe delivers in so many ways. Running longer distances can be really tough on my tootsies, so I need a shoe that is going to keep me going mile after mile. It’s also a lightweight shoe, which works wonders for my running life.
Feels Soft While Running
Yes, this shoe it totally awesome while running because it feels so soft. I certainly do not want to be feeling as though I’m running on a hard surface. Your knees and feet go through a lot while running, so it’s important to feel the softness.
My friend Jessie from It’s A Messy Life caught this picture of me running up yet another hill during the Laughlin Half Marathon.
Support without Stiffness
I also love that the Mizuno Wave Inspire 12 Support Running shoe has improved its shoe so much in the support area. It has a soft yet structural fit. I don’t know about you, but I definitely need support as I run! The upper part of the shoe was redesigned using 3D Fit technology—which provides that soft yet structured fit. You can really feel the great structure in the middle part of the shoe.
The Mizuno Wave Inspire 12 Support Running shoe has improved so much since the 11 and I love it. Every small detail certainly makes for an even better running experience (especially on hilly half marathon courses!). Of course, I had a positive experience with the 11 version, but I’m loving the 12 even more. There’s also a new midsole technology in the shoe called U4icX (eu-phor-ic-X) that takes away stiffness, so the runner is more comfortable. (Yes, I had to look that up, but you can absolutely feel it!)
If you’re looking for a running shoe, the Mizuno Wave Inspire 12 Support Running shoe is a great option. Lush, soft, and support without the stiffness are all reasons I’m in love with this shoe. I encourage you to check it out and let me know what you think!

In a running shoe, I look for a supportive arch and I have wide feet. I look for adequate padding on the ball of my foot and my heel.
