Nuk has been working with children who have cleft lips or a cleft palate and have designed a special line of products to help these children who have trouble using a standard bottle.
In case you didn’t know, Operation Smile provides free surgeries to repair cleft lip, cleft palate, and other facial deformities. Often children who are born with severe cleft conditions are unable to eat, speak, socialize, or even smile. In some places these children are shunned or rejected. More often their parents just can’t afford the surgeries to give their child a normal life.
Through the help of medical volunteers, Operation Smile has been providing free surgeries for children around the world since 1982!
