Brita is Challenging you to drink your daily intake of water everyday for 4 weeks!
The idea is that after the 4 weeks of the challenge drinking water will become second nature to you. Plus who wouldn’t love a trip to “The Biggest Loser” Resort in Malibu California?
Brita makes getting your daily water intake easy!
8-10 glasses of water = 1 Brita Pitcher
8-10 glasses of water = 3 Brita Water Bottles.
So how do I make sure I get my daily water in?
My Tip: I drink 2 glasses of water prior to each meal. That is 6 glasses DONE!! And I usually try to eat 4-5 meals a day. So that is 8-10 glasses without batting an eye!
Did you know: Drinking more water can help you lose weight.
A recent study found that drinking water before meals three times per day can help increase weight loss up to five pounds over a 12 week period. Increase your water intake by taking the Brita Challenge at Brita.com/Challenge to help you drink 8-10 glasses of water per day.
• Source: American Chemical Society (Clinical Trail Confirms Effectiveness of Simple Appetite Control Method. American Chemical Society, 2010). Study concluded that drinking water before meals can lead to greater weight loss results in combination with a low calorie diet.
How simple is that!! What are you waiting for?

I love it. I drink tons of water. I agree that it helps with weight loss. I accept the challenge!
I totally joined! I need to drink more water for sure and I hope it helps me lose a bit of weight! Thanks, Emily, for sharing this! 🙂 I can’t wait to get started!
Water and milk are the choice drinks in our house. I know since having kids I have been drinking so much more water though I only got 3 glasses in today. We use a Brita filter at the lake and love it!!
Know that I am back in school it is so much easier for me to drink water. I bring 3 water bottles to drink every day. I try to get in the rest at home. I would love to drink more and nix my pop habit.
Water is so good for you and does so many amazing things for your body! Gotta love Brita! It makes drinking water so easy!
I really love water, but I know I just don’t drink enough of it! Being pregnant too, there is more pressure to drink more water, so I’m kicking my butt too!
I need to do this challenge! Drinking water is definitely something I need to be doing more of!
somedays I’m really good about the amount of water I drink. I realized a straw is the best trick for me to consume even more.
I LOVE ice cold water and drink probably 8+ glasses a day!
Drinking water is so important. Thanks for the reminder!
I LOOOOOOOVE water and it was key to my weight loss last year; and it is just as important this year as I’m now nursing. I read that nursing moms lose around a liter a day through breast milk alone. Gotta stay on top of the water!
I lost a lot more weight when I was watching my water intake better. I’ve been slacking lately. I need to kick myself back into gear though!~
Sign up for the challenge! 🙂 You can do it – I am the same way. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!
Water is my favorite drink and we def use Brita pitchers. We don’t drink any caffeine and limit or juice intake so the Brita pitchers have become a staple in our daily lives! Great post and great water facts. I haven’t seen the personal water bottles yet, I think those a wonderful way to eliminate waste but at the same time getting great filtered water! Thanks for the post.
I read this post, looked to my left and saw a coffee cup and bottle of soda, and had an AHA! moment. Seriously, I NEED this challenge. I accept!
I love water, and I know I get enough!! Ice cold water is my drink of choice!!

I love water, but I have to admit I don’t drink nearly enough 🙁
I hardly ever drink the amount of water that is recommended so I really need to do this challenge. I do notice a big difference between when I only drink juice, and when I add water. I’m glad I signed up. Thanks for the heads up.
I joined! Although I usually don’t have a problem drinking water because of the heat….but now that winter is coming it won’t be as hot and I know I won’t be drinking enough. Hopefully by signing up, it will help me remember to drink water!
Thanks Amanda! Good luck!
glug glug glug! A great rule of thumb I follow is to take your weight, divide it in half, then drink that many ounces of water per day. Not saying what that leads me to in terms of daily needed ounces, but I am glad to say I meet my drinking needs daily. I keep a water bottle in my car, freezer, refrig, and on the counter. Works for me!
