Kathryn the Grape’s Colorful Adventure:

"Children's Book" "Reading to Children" "Build Self Esteem"

Written by Kathryn Cloward and Ginny Hornby
Illustrated by Christine Winscott
Story created by Kathryn Cloward

About:

Welcome to the world of Kathryn the Grape!
The stories of Kathryn the Grape are inspired by our desire to build self esteem in children and teach positive life lessons. Through creative stories and vibrant illustrations, we hope to engage children to connect with others, embrace their inner magic, and live a purposeful life.

BLING! You are colorful! That’s what readers will discover as they join Kathryn the Grape and her magical butterfly friend Maggie, on an imaginative colorful adventure as Kathryn the Grape discovers how to make her colorful rainbow shine!  With help from Maggie and a special charm bracelet, readers learn beautiful life lessons while discovering how to shine their colorful light in the world.

This is the second book in the Kathryn the Grape series and was just released on September 21st.  Parents will love the enriching message of a young girls journey to learn about belonging, excitement, trusting, love, expressing herself, seeing what she wants, and being open to learn new things.

Review:

While the ideal age group for this book is probably older than my 2 year old son, Squishy really enjoyed the colors through the book.  Because it is intended for an older audience we don’t always read through the book each time.

I liked reading a book to him that I know was teaching him a new lesson each time we read it.  I really enjoy reading him stories about building self confidence, especially at this age when he is just really coming into his own personality.

This will for sure be a story in our collection that we can go back to again and again.

You can buy this book on Amazon or at BarnesandNoble.com, but the first 200 copies sold on the Kathryn the Grape website will be autographed by both the author and illustrator.  In addition for every copy sold on the website, $1 will be donated to the Kathryn the Grape fund which supports non-profit agencies focused on helping children.

One lucky Family and Life in Las Vegas reader is getting an AUTOGRAPHED copy for their family to enjoy.

Disclosure: I received a copy of this book for my review. No monetary compensation was given for this post. All opinions are 100% honest and my own.
