When Squishy was an infant I saw a costume on a mother that I LOVED.
“Tired” Mom.
She had used her son’s cars and made tracks on a shirt.
Then with a sharpie she wrote TIRED MOM.
After a few attempts to sway my son into being a cow so I could be a farmer failed. I gave into the fact that this year we would not have corresponding costumes. (Yes, I am still trying to get over this.)
While trying to think of what I could be without spending much money, I remembered the Tired Mom costume.
I picked up a $4 shirt, and some $3 letters from Target (one of my Top 4 Places to shop). I used paint I already had and grabbed one of my son’s trucks to make my own version of this costume.
I think it came out pretty cute.
What do you think?
Thinking about using some tires to make earrings out of… but we will see.

Thanks Glenda! Hey – did you get the email about Spread The Warmth?? I am having trouble getting in touch with you! 😉
Brings back so many memories, including the fact that my daughter did not want me to dress up at all. We lived in the neighborhood where my husband taught high school, do everyone recognized us. One year we made a costume for under $10 for my husband that had him as a super hero, Atomic Super Stud (ASS) Man. We laughed ourselves silly. Our daughter made us stay on the sidewalk. Have fun TIRED MOM!
LOL Kymberly! AssMan! Haha – I probably would have been embarrassed too – but that is a parents right! 🙂 Glad you had fun!!
