Sensa Weightloss System Review

December 11, 2011 By Emily 6 Comments

"Weight Loss System" "Sensa Weight Loss" "Diet programs"Have I told you yet that I am DONE dieting? Yep, you heard me right. DONE. I am sick of counting calories and eliminating foods I love in an effort to drop the lbs. The problem with diets is the that as soon as they end, I go back to old habits. I don’t learn portion control, and I don’t listen to my hunger cues.

So what am I doing? I am starting to pay attention to the food I use to fuel my body. I am making cleaner eating choices, and changing the way I look at my plate. I am loading up my plates with half veggies, and then protein, and finally starch/carbs. Or maybe not even carbs at all. I am listening to my hunger cues, drinking more water, and eating smaller meals more often. I am paying attention to the reason I am eating. Is it hunger or is it emotions. And I am definitely not punishing myself for enjoying my food. Indulging in your cravings isn’t wrong, but it has to be done properly.

That is where Sensa can help! By sprinkling Sensa on your food every single time, you can actually be satisfied earlier and thus eat less.

"Weight Loss System" "Sensa Weight Loss" "Diet programs"

SENSA® was designed to work with your sense of smell to help trigger Sensory Specific Satiety.

The scientific principle behind SENSA® is remarkably simple. As you eat smell and taste receptors send messages to your brain which release hormones that tell your body it’s time to stop eating. This is a phenomenon we call Sensory Specific Satiety. By enhancing smell, SENSA® Tastants were designed to help speed up the process and trigger your “I feel full” signal, so you eat less and feel more satisfied. Because SENSA® works with your body’s natural impulses, rather than against them, there are no feelings of hunger or intense cravings.

By combining this with my new approach to food I hope to enhance my weight loss and help me understand when I am satisfied and full.  Honestly, the hardest part of the Sensa weight loss system is trying to remember to put it on my food when I am eating.  They have two shakers for you to use, one for savory foods and another for sweet foods. I was happy to discover that neither of them had much if anything of a smell and very little taste to them.  In fact the sweet only made things seem a bit sweeter, and the savory didn’t change the flavor at all!

I haven’t been the best at making sure I am using this on all my food, but I definitely notice that when I did use it I was more aware of how much I was eating, and ate less then I would had I not been using the Sensa and listening to my fullness level.

You can head over to Facebook to find more Sensa reviews.

Disclosure: I was provided 2 Months of Sensa for the purpose of my reviews.  All opinions and thoughts are 100% honest and my own.

I would forget to sprinkle it on my food all the time too. This stuff sounds like a really great thing though. 🙂 I’m liking your new approach to eating, etc. 🙂 That’s the only thing that works for me too. 🙂

I agree, remembering to sprinkle on your food may be a bit of a chore. Sounds like a new way to lose weight. I definitely need to see testimonials, reviews, before and after pictures, etc.

You have a great attitude; it really IS about making small changes into habits. So many people associate a healthy lifestyle with punishment, which is sad and doesn’t work long term. You have figured out the secret!
