The personalized pajamas and t-shirts were absolutely adorable!
The Easter Egg Hunt sets were very tempting! (I must remember these when my son is older!)
I decided to purchase a few small things. I wanted to get my Squishy a few extra items for his basket, something to get him interacting and learning, and something that would keep us entertained for years to come!
My Chasing Fireflies Order
The first thing I picked out was this super adorable kid’s crafts book specifically for Easter! I love that as my child(ren) grow I can go back to this book time and time again!! I really want to try these adorable fingerprint sheep cards! I think the grandparents would LOVE them!!
50 easter things to make and do
Crack into your own creativity around Easter time. This book is chock-full of ideas and instructions for 50 projects your children will love, using natural objects and basic craft supplies. Make an Easter garland, a pop-up card, toy-filled eggs and more. 104 pages.
I just couldn’t pass up these Easter shaped crayon critters. I am sure they will keep him busy for months past the holiday! (It’s kind of hard to see in this picture but the shapes are a chick, egg, and bunny!)
crayon critters (set of 3)
This rainbow trio makes for unexpected coloring. As kids draw, colors change. Set includes a bunny, egg and chick. Approximately 3″. Made in USA.
I also couldn’t resist these adorable surprise balls! While all the designs are super cute, I had to get Eggbert! He is almost too cute to unwrap!
eggbert surprise ball
Easter is all about surprises, and the Easter Bunny brought something extra fun this year. Kids will love ripping through the multi-colored paper streamers to reveal 10 small treats. Approximately 4″ diameter. Made in USA and imported.
Finally I added the grow your own Easter grass to my cart! I thought it would be a fun thing to do with Squishy, and a really cute decoration for his basket! We had fun mixing the soil and seeds! We are still waiting to see how our grass turns out!
(After the seeds are covered, you add the soil into a foil lined basket, and cover it with plastic. Place the basket in the sun and in 2-3 days sprouts should grow!)
grow your own easter grass kit
As a green alternative to plastic grass, try this easy project. A week to 10 days ahead of time, plant the seeds in your kids’ Easter baskets. They’ll love watching it grow, and on Easter morning the Easter Bunny can nestle their treats into lush, sweet-smelling grass. (He’ll surely like that!) Each kit contains soil and seeds to fill two 6″ baskets or one 12″ basket. (Basket sold separately.) Made in USA.
I’m so excited to see how our grass turns out, and to see how my son loves the crayons and surprise Eggbert! I am thrilled with my Chasing Fireflies Easter items! The prices and quality of the items is just perfect.
I am sure to head back over to Chasing Fireflies for future holiday items, and maybe even to pick up some cute toddler clothes! It is really hard to find cute boy clothes, so I try to make note when I find them!

Love those t-shirts I may have to splurge and get those for an Easter photo shoot. The green basket grass is interesting as well. I can’t stand the plastic stuff.

I figured it was at the best a fun project, learning about how things grow, and at the least it was way better for the environment!! 🙂 Thanks for stopping by Lisa!
