This may only be my son’s 3rd Easter but it is already one of my favorite holidays as a mother. To watch your child find joy in the activities surrounding Easter is pretty amazing.
For instance:
If I asked you to tell me what comes to mind when you think Easter Bunny + Baby …
I am willing to bet Karate Chopping is not a phrase you would have mentioned.
Many families spend all week preparing for Easter dinner. Our family looks forward to Easter dinner all year, but on our son’s first Easter all our preparation didn’t matter!
All anyone remembers is that …
My Squishy dined on Duck Legs!
Parents can find the biggest and the coolest events for their children to go to…
Only to have them be a flop.
Or you can spend a quiet morning in your own backyard, where you learn…
Sometimes less really is more.
Sometimes it takes seeing Easter through a child’s eyes to learn it isn’t about what is in the basket, what’s for dinner, or where you celebrate the day…
(A picture for Daddy who was deployed at the time.)
Easter is about taking time to recognize the little moments that make memories for a lifetime.
This year my family is thankful to be celebrating Easter with my husband. It may be my son’s third Easter, but it is our FIRST as a family. He was deployed both Easter’s prior.
This year at Blissdom, I was given an opportunity to participate in the Hershey’s Bunny Trail. When you head over to Hershey’s Bunny Trail, you can find Easter tips, stories, and more for your enjoyment. They also gave us a chance to create an Easter Basket filled with Hershey’s goodies which I hope will arrive very soon! Other than the Easter basket filled with Hershey’s products, this post was not sponsored.
