There is one thing that Nashville and Las Vegas have in common…
And no, its NOT that it’s the only two places in the country where Glitter and Sparkle is not only accepted it’s encouraged (although that is pretty true too!)
It’s a true LOVE of country music!
Each year Las Vegas welcomes thousands of country music fans and artists to the city to celebrate that ACM award show, and every year Las Vegas goes a little more country!
This year the ACMs added an all new event to the week long celebration.
For three days (March 30-April 1st) families and fans alike can hang out at the Mandalay Bay Convention center and enjoy The ACM Experience!
SHOP IT. TASTE IT. RIDE IT. HEAR IT.
Once we arrived, the kiddos couldn’t restrain themselves. They were ready to have The ACM Experience!
We started in the expo hall and checked out all the goods available to SHOP IT!
We personally didn’t do much shopping, but boy oh boy was there a ton of shopping to be had!! Hats, boots, shirts, and so much more!
We did stop by the ACM Awards booths and have our pictures taken!
Squishy and I gladly accepted our ACM award. (Best rendition of Wheels on A Bus…)
Next up was the TASTE IT! part of our day! With the BBQ Throwdown going on it wasn’t hard to work up an appetite. Seriously, this pork sandwich was one of the best I have ever tasted!
Whether you were looking for some good BBQ, or something a little different, you were sure to find it at The ACM Experience.
There was even samples of ice cold beer to be had. On a hot Las Vegas spring day, this Land Shark beer hit the spot! SO delicious!
After our bellies were full we headed over to the RIDE IT part of the experience! My son eagerly jumped right into the monster tire!
Pretty sure it doesn’t get much cuter than this!!
Dodge RAM had a whole course set up for people to drive on with big Dodge Ram 1500s. My husband really wanted to do it, but restrained himself since he know our son would want to go too!
And any good party wouldn’t be complete without a little corn hole! My hubs had fun trying to win!
Finally tuckered out from all that fun truck/car power we headed over to the Country Thunder Stage and settled into HEAR IT with Steel Magnolia! The kiddos enjoyed the music just as much as we did!
While saddles and boots aren’t something you will always find in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, for one week a year Las Vegas goes country, and thanks to the ACM Experience everyone has a chance to enjoy it!
My family is already looking forward to next year! We hope The ACM Experience will be back year after year for Las Vegas to go Country!
Disclosure: This post has not been compensated in any way. This fun adventure was free for everyone, but the above mentioned fun was all ours!
