Dear Squishy,
They say kids say the darnedest things. And though many parents of toddler may say the same thing, I have to tell you, I am pretty sure if you sat down with Bill Cosby, they could film a whole show!
Squishy: Holds hand to ear and says “Oh! It’s Garbage truck day!”
Runs to door, and watches Waste Management.
Returns to me and says, “Mom, Garbage Truck men made a mess!”
Me: “They made a mess?”
Squishy: “Yes, they pushed over the can!”
LOL – watch out Waste Management – Squishy’s watching!
Often times we play a game of who can say I love you and be the last one to say it… I have to hand it to you, you won this round, and had my laughing all day!
Me: I love you
Squishy: I love you too!
Me: I love you more!
Squishy: I love you more!
Me: I love you most!
Squishy: NO I love you most!
Me: I love you Infinity and Beyond
Squishy: I love you ifiny… (long pause) I love you BUZZ LIGHTYEAR!
And I can’t tell you how much you crack me up when you try to be silly!
Me: Squishy tell Daddy what a good boy you were today!
Squishy: I not a good boy, I A STINKER!!
True that!! True that! WAIT does that mean you know when you are being a stinker? Hmmm…
I love you little man!
Xoxxo,
Mama
*Dear Squishy is my version of (a less than) Wordless Wednesday where each week I write a letter to my son.

Aren’t kids great? They are the best entertainment in the world, lol.
They really are!! Everyday he makes me laugh. Someone remind me of this when we hit the teen years!!

Thank you Debra!
Such a funny little guy and adorable too.
I think so! 🙂

Thanks Karen!
At least his being a stinker now is isn’t as stinker-y as it will be in oh say, 12 years. 🙂
Oh man!! The teenage years are going to kill me!! LOL I always wished they could switch the time frame of babies and teens – they are only sweet babies for 1-2 years, teens for 4+ It doesn’t seem fair!
Hes adorable!
Thanks Megan!

His expression in the last photo is priceless! I love that you recorded some of this conversations – I wish we had done that with my daughter! That boy is going to grow to be a fine supervisor one day 🙂
Thanks TerriAnn! I agree he is going to be very good at anything requiring supervision!! 🙂
LOL! I love Buzz Lightyear too!
I think he meant that Buzz Lightyear says Infinity and Beyond – and since he couldn’t say that he said Buzz Lightyear. At least that is what I am going with!! LOL!! 😛
What a cute story and he Loves you better than Buzz so you know you are Loved and he admits he is a sinker that one needs recorded so when he is a teenager you can play it back for him.
I agree about recording it!! Thanks for stopping by Glenda!
