HALO SleepSack Wearable Blanket #Giveaway {September Sprinkles} US/CAN

September 30, 2012 By Emily 22 Comments

September is Baby Safety month and what better way to celebrate then giveaway the leading wearable blanket from a company that works hard to help prevent SIDS. HALO sleepsack is a product that every new parent should have at home!

"SIDS Prevention" "Wearable Blankets" "Baby Sleepsacks" "HALO SleepSack"

I’m sure you saw the “Back to Sleep” embroidered the HALO sleepsack review I did earlier this month. What a great way to constantly remind new, sleep deprived parents of the safer way for babies to sleep. HALO Innovations is committed to educating about Safe Sleep and a portion of all SleepSack purchases goes toward SIDs prevention organizations.

The HALO Safer Way to Sleep Initiative really shows their dedication to safe sleeping for babies by starting education shortly after baby arrives in the hospital. HALO Innovations has been working with hospitals to provide SleepSack Swaddles through this program. Today, over 800 hospitals nationwide are taking part in the program and modeling safe sleep practices for new parents right from their child’s first day of life. Leading health organizations agree that modeling proper baby care in the hospital is the single biggest influence on how parents will care for their baby in home.

Unfortunetly,  the hospital I’ll be delivering at is not part of the HALO Safer Way to Sleep Initiative in-hospital program. They may however be participating in the program at a hospital near you! Check out HALO to find out more!

Stay connected with HALO on Facebook (facebook.com/halosleepsack), Pinterest (pinterest.com/halosleepsack), and on Twitter (twitter.com/halosleepsack)!

One lucky reader will win a HALO SleepSack (you choose size and boy, girl or neutral for color).

Enter using the Rafflecopter form below. The only mandatory entry is to confirm your email address in case you win!  This giveaway is open to US/CAN residents and ends on 10/14.

I like that it prevents skin irritation. I’d choose the silky pink unicorn Sensitive Skin Sleepwear Two-Piece Set: Silky.

I’d get my DD pink. Just as winter is coming, I like that it can keep her warm but is much safer than a traditional blanket.

I’ve learned: Created by Bill Schmid after losing a child to SIDS, HALO® SleepSack® wearable blankets replace loose blankets in the crib that can cover your baby’s face and interfere with breathing. No wonder it’s the #1 trusted choice of hospital nurseries and parents alike. In addition to sleeping safer, the HALO SleepSack helps babies sleep better, too. It’s a warm, cuddly blanket that baby can’t kick off to help baby sleep safe and sound. And when baby is sleeping safe and sound, moms and dads can rest easy.

I visited their site and was surprised by the variety of products they have. I did not know about the “HALO® ComfortLuxe™ Sensitive Skin Sleepwear” which can help with sensitive skin because the innovative fabric keeps away moisture and is breathable. It would be great for my son and they are cute too!
