Today Cancer took my stepmother.
She lost her 7 year battle with colon cancer.
Cancer took her away from my father and their 14 year marriage.
Cancer took her away from her two children and three step-children.
Cancer took her away from her two beautiful nieces, my son, and my soon to be born son.
Cancer took away her tomorrows.
Today Cancer sucks.
Today I wish for you to hug a loved one, to cheer on someone battling cancer, to go get regular screenings and check ups, and continue to support the fight to find a cure for all cancer.
Cancer makes you say goodbye too early.
Today I pray for less goodbyes and more survivors.

I’m so sorry…
Seriously crying right now. For you, and everyone else who has lost someone to an unwinnable battle.
My mom is a survivor… but right now I have four members of my family fighting different cancers – Lukemia, Lung, Breast, and Tonsil. Cancer sucks. Today. Tomorrow. And every day until we can find a cure.

I am so sorry for your loss. My husband and I lost a son to cancer about 8 years ago. He was only 3 months old. Cancer knows no boundaries and it affects everybody….I HATE it. Its a terrible journey……wishing you peace as you move forward!
