Can you believe that crazy Elf has been hanging around for over 2 weeks now? (If you haven’t had a chance to see our Elf re-joins our family and last week’s elfcapades you can check them out here!) Our elf has been particularly precocious this week. I swear he has been getting himself into the most crazy scenarios! Shenanigans doesn’t even begin to cover it this week!
Days 9-15 Elf on the Shelf:
He was captured by a group of army men “toy soldiers” who followed him back from the north pole.
He must have been watching “Wicked” before heading back to our house because he certainly was defying gravity here!
He managed to get tied up and found himself facing down Thomas the Train!
He landed in my favorite plant and spent the day watching on high.
He dressed up like a firefighter the night before K’s Firehouse tour.
He ran into the #Dinovember crew and learned that they too stick around for #Dinocember! Good thing they can’t climb like Freckles can!
He ended our week by getting in the Christmas spirit and decorated his own Christmas tree the night after we finally got ours up.
If your elf is hard up for ideas on how to impress the kiddos – have them check out Freckles post on 40 Easy and Creative ideas for Elf on the Shelf!
I’ve teamed up with a few awesome bloggers to be your hosts for a fun and creative linkup!
Meet Your Hosts:
- Emily from Our Knight Life
- Amy from OC Mentor
- Becca from My Crazy Good Life
- Sara from Mom Endeavors
The idea is simple–every week we’ll be here with a new linkup for you to add your Elf on the Shelf ideas. Add your link (to your Elf on the Shelf post, not your homepage) below and visit some of the other participants to see what their elves are up to. If you can’t visit all of the participants, it’s best to look at your linkup number and only visit posts with the same last number. For example, if you’re #18 to linkup, you’ll visit #8, #28, and so on.
I thought I’d take it a bit further and highlight a post I loved from each week’s link up!
This week’s featured blog is Simple and Trendy!
Check out Brandi’s Elf Donuts and tutorial here!
How fun is her Elf Donut idea! I love that they are allergy friendly too!! What a creative idea for a child who has to be careful all the time about the treats they eat!
We would love for you to join in the fun with us and link up your Elf on the Shelf posts! (Check out last week’s link up and posts: Week 2 Elf On The Shelf Link Up. )
