It’s been 8 days since Freckles the Elf has rejoined our family for the Christmas Season! Boy oh boy has he been up to some crazy shenanigans in our home!
He’s been hanging from the ceiling fan! Mind you it’s 15 feet up in the air!!
He colored K a picture!
He enjoyed coffee and swedish pepparkakor cookies with Dave the Minion!
He reminded K how important it is to drink water. Apparently he is also an avid Applecheeks Cloth Diaper fan! (Especially the Cherry Tomato color!)
He had story time with the vehicles from Disney’s Cars & Planes. Freckles loves Mater!
He even took a ride on Dusty Crophopper!
K loved finding Freckles every morning. I’ve found him talking to Freckles about his day. Telling him about both his good behavior and his not so nice behavior. I really wonder what Freckles will be up to next week!
If your elf is hard up for ideas on how to impress the kiddos – have them check out Freckles post on 40 Easy and Creative ideas for Elf on the Shelf!
I’ve teamed up with a few awesome bloggers to be your hosts for a fun and creative linkup!
Meet Your Hosts:
- Emily from Our Knight Life
- Amy from OC Mentor
- Becca from My Crazy Good Life
- Sara from Mom Endeavors
The idea is simple–every week we’ll be here with a new linkup for you to add your Elf on the Shelf ideas. Add your link (to your Elf on the Shelf post, not your homepage) below and visit some of the other participants to see what their elves are up to. If you can’t visit all of the participants, it’s best to look at your linkup number and only visit posts with the same last number. For example, if you’re #18 to linkup, you’ll visit #8, #28, and so on.
I thought I’d take it a bit further and highlight a post I loved from each week’s link up!
This week’s featured blog is FiddleDeMe!
Her Elf got so creative he set up an advent craft for her kids!
FiddleDeMe Paper Christmas Tree
Be sure to check out her post! This really is a super creative idea to tie the magic of the elf with the reason for the season!
We would love for you to join in the fun with us and link up your Elf on the Shelf posts! (Check out last week’s link up and posts: Elf on Shelf Link Up Week 1)
By linking with us, you are allowing the hosts to use one image from your linked post in addition to the link for your Elf post both in the linkup and on social media channels (we love to promote fun posts!).
