Love Lorna Jane + $50 Giveaway

A little over a year ago I saw brand that was new to me popping up on some of my favorite fitness social media accounts. Instantly I LOVED the designs. They were sleek, feminine, and functional. I quickly learned that Lorna Jane was a brand that was out to inspire woman to live active lives.

In order to help support women in the Active Living endeavor Australian born Lorna Jane Clarkson created a line of activewear that not only functions in the gym, but in woman’s everyday lives as well. Their logo is a series of three squares that symbolize the company’s mission to MOVE NOURISH BELIEVE. And with hi-tech fitness clothing including everything from sports bras to running tights and more this company really truly has the whole woman in mind and not just the woman in the gym.

Recently I was contacted by the company and asked if I’d be interested in reviewing a few pieces and sharing the news of a new store opening in Las Vegas. I’m pretty sure I squealed a little bit when I read that email. So long I’d admired the clothing on my fitness friends, and now not only was I going to be able to try it, but I was going to have access to the brand with the opening of their new store in the Fashion Show Mall right here in Las Vegas! (Estimated opening is October 3oth.)

While browsing on their website I notice that while they do carry sizes XXS-XL, the bigger sizes seemed a bit limited so instead of choosing my own pieces I told the company what I do for fitness (Running and Yoga) and asked them to send on their favorite items.

When my Lorna Jane Box arrived on my doorstep I couldn’t wait to open it. I was so excited even my husband came over to see what my big to do was about.

Here’s What I Got:

Divine Tank

This tank is perfect for my yoga days or just around the house my rest days. It’s incredibly soft as it’s made with jersey cotton. I love the color as well.

Pammy Bra

I was not expecting this bra to be as supportive as it is with the skinny straps, but this bra can tame my “team” if you know what I mean! It’s made with LJ Excel Classic fabric which means that it is shrink and fade resistant. It wicks moisture and is quick drying and breathable. Thankfully the padding is removable because when your chest is as big as mine, extra padding isn’t needed, but I’m sure some ladies love it!

LJ Excel Tank

This is pretty much my new favorite tank! Not only is it great for working out, it’s pretty long (even on my 5’9 frame) and so I love wearing it under my everyday clothing as well. It’s also made with the LJ Excel Classic fabric and it certainly wicks moisture away which in the Vegas heat is great. They also have a little heart on the inside seam of the tank that I discovered one day and it made me smile.

Ash Stability Core Tights

Okay, I wanted to love these, and I’m sure once I lose a few more pounds I will, but unfortunately the Large didn’t fit me at all, which I thought was interesting seeing as the Busy Workout Tights below were also a L and fit great. I love the design of these and can’t wait to get them on.

These are my absolute favorite tights that I own. They are super flattering and the waistband doesn’t move when I’m running.

It is also made with  LJ Excel Classic fabric which is shrink and fade resistant, wicks moisture and is quick drying and breathable! They are incredibly comfortable as well. I wish I could wear these everyday!

Final Thoughts ??

I’m in love. I love the colors and how comfortable they are. They are certainly a little more pricey than some other brands of fitness gear, but one wear and you can tell why. The clothing is made to last. I love that each time I put it on it fits like the first time I wore it. With the new store coming to Las Vegas at the end of October I look forward to adding a few pieces of clothing each season!
